Our Projects

As a provider of assistance to community groups, ECO-Action’s primary purpose is to strengthen participation of people to prevent and solve environmental health problems. Since its inception in 1998, we have assisted more than 140 community-based groups in 95 of the 156 Georgia counties to organize for changes that safeguard their community. ECO-Action has several programs aimed at making communities more aware and proactive about their environmental health. Depending on the level of urgency and the level of awareness in a given community, we have several different options that will help concerned groups of individuals achieve their goals.
